Marc Austin Highfill

Marc Austin Highfill was born and raised in the West End of Richmond. He graduated from Freeman High School and VCU with a degree in marketing and a concentration in real estate. He founded Austins, a special event and marketing company, in 1986. Marc was named Young Entrepreneur of The Year for the State of Virginia in 1991. He was a partner in a local Richmond real estate firm from 1999 until he opened Exit First Realty on June 2, 2006. Marc and his three sons live in the West End of Richmond. Marc is an avid racquetball player and has obtained his 5th Degree Black Belt in Karate with Grand Master Dong's Karate.
Marc Austin Highfill has real estate experience since 1999 in the residential, commercial, and investment real estate markets in Richmond. His team, The Marc Austin Properties at Exit First Realty has been ranked in the top ten sales teams (for units sold and sales volume) by the Richmond Association of Realtors for the past 7 years. The team averages 5-6 sales every week and has ranked as a Top 10 Team for units and volume for 15 straight years.
Marc has earned the OwnAmerica Investment Certification (OICP). The OwnAmerica Investment Certification Program trains real estate professionals on the strategies of professional investors, how to read market cycles, the drivers of real estate wealth and how to counsel investor clients. This certification indicates that Marc is qualified to help real estate investors learn how to best capitalize on the housing market's influx of foreclosures, short sales and quality real estate assets at historically low prices.
